The Rest Stops
The first (and last) rest stop is supported by the wonderful ladies of Druid City Bicycle Club. Near the intersection of Black Warrior Rd and Highway 11, rest assured you will be taken care of by some of the best.
The Romulus volunteer fire fighters are huge supporters of cycling here in the Tuscaloosa area. They always have their own prepared food and lots of ice and fluids that really hit the spot when you need it. They are located at the intersection of Romulus Rd and Gainsville Rd.
A group of local physicians and cyclists have been running this fan favorite stop for years. Not only will you get the rest and fluids you need to keep going, but they have home made tomato sandwiches that are always a huge hit!
Bethel Church is a rest stop that couldn’t come soon enough! This rest stop is supported by the Tuscaloosa Mountain Flyers, a local middle and high school mountain bike team. They are on their toes and ready to help you with your bike, ice cold towels, or anything else you need.
